Whole Wheat Pasta
495g whole wheat flour
4eggs
1T oil
2T water
Needed to add quite a bit of water, 2 or 3T more. I might back the flour down next time.
Farfalle w/Salmon & Leeks
Saute until tender:
2# leeks, quartered and sliced small
2T butter
Cook pasta (1/2 of above recipe), reserving 1/2c water.
Nestle (2) 6-oz salted and peppered salmon fillets into the leeks and add 1c dry white wine. Cover and simmer til salmon is cooked (5-7 minutes). Remove salmon & keep warm (remove skin also if not using skinless fillets). Add 3/4c cream to the leeks and simmer until thickened (3-5 minutes).
Add sauce & salmon to pasta, breaking up salmon into bite size pieces. Add reserved pasta water if needed. Adjust seasoning.
