Norwegian Vaffler:(modified)
Whisk together in medium bowl:

8T buttermilk powder
375g flour
1tsp salt
1/2tsp powder
1 pod cardamom, ground

Combine in large bowl:

4oz butter, melted
4 eggs
50g sugar
2c water
1 cap vanilla

Whisk dry ingredients into wet until smooth.
Used 6T in the electric heart waffle iron.


Goat Cheese Ice Cream (Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at Home)

Whisk together and set aside:

55g neufchatel cheese (2oz cream cheese)
140g goat cheese (5oz)
1/4tsp salt


640g whole milk (2 2/3c)
360g cream (1 1/2c)
100g tapioca syrup (1/3c corn syrup)
150g sugar (3/4c)

Remove 2T of the milk to a prep bowl and whisk in 7g tapioca starch (5tsp cornstarch). Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and boil for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in starch mixture. Whisk hot milk into cheese mixture til smooth. Cool, chill, and spin. Layer in roasted cherries (from yesterday), and harden.

This made a batch on the very edge of what out Cuisinart ICE-21 can handle. Tastes like cheesecake.
